Why is Security so Important?

Security is so much more than keeping a property safe and deterring theft, vandalism, and disorderly conduct. Security often finds the people that others have overlooked. The person who is huddled in a dark corner behind the shopping center that is hypothermic and trying to make it through the night. The young child wandering around the apartment complex at midnight. The two suspicious guys hanging around the parking lot where they shouldn't be. The homeless person approaching people aggressively and making them uncomfortable.

We often see the things that others miss.  There are so many things going on around us that others are not noticing, but security does.  It's more than being a guard of property and possessions; it's caring about people and helping when and where you can. As security, we know the people in our area.  We know the neighborhoods and job sites we work and who belongs and who doesn't and we often see the people who need help way before anyone else does.

Security is also about building professional and personal relationships with our clients, vendors, and the general public we deal with on a daily basis. Customer service is an essential aspect of our business as security officers.
